A CNN guy (Noah Gray) reported on Twitter that the Trumps put out a Christmas spread (hundreds of meals) for the law enforcement types and military (Secret Service, WH Military Office, & Palm Beach Sheriff's office) that had to work on his protection on this trip. The Trumps paid for it and the meals were served between 1PM and 7PM so two shifts were covered.

Trump's Christmas Meals Law Enforcement | The Daily Caller

While I think this was a very nice thing that the President and Melania did, I'm mentioning it because CNN of all networks, reported it (Daily Caller just picked up the Tweet). Didn't hear about it from anyone else. If you berate them, you have to also give them credit when they say something nice.

Trump actually paid for that himself? Surprising. Then again, I suppose it was tax-deductible. And you can bet it wasn't his idea.

What a negative attitude.

Why surprising? This is the same president that isn't taking a salary-instead donating it. Unlike say the Obamas who used the Oval Office as an opportunity to enrich themselves. And who threw a temper tantrum when he wasn't getting a bonus on retirement.

Shush.
Stop with the negative rumor spreading rhetoric.
A sign of maturity is to recognize good when you see it!!!! And not be a downer for one's own agenda!!!!!

President Trump supports and works with the community. A welcome approach lacking for years.

Stop with the donating his salary thing already. Trump's $400K salary didn't cover his stroll to Air Force One twice on the way to his innumerable golfing expeditions at Mar-a-Lago in less than one year. Comparing him to Obama makes the Obamas look really good.

That was nice of him to do. Not trying to disparage his generosity, but does anyone think that NO OTHER president ever did this? Are we to believe that when Bush was down at the Ranch on all those holidays that the SS and law enforcement were forced to pack their own lunches or figure out who was making the Christmas Day run to the local Sheetz for a gas station sandwich? Come on.

But yeah, I have no issues with positive reporting on the President and the nice gestures he makes. I'm just surprised that anyone of the righties are believing what the CNN reporter tweeted. Must be FAKE NEWS!! Or do they only get it right when it's a flattering story?
