Exactly.

Likely business was already down due to how he treated his employees. I know we haven't patronized that business since he broadcast his feelings about paying for healthcare.

He just jumped on the bandwagon to castigate the NFL players and shot himself in the other foot.

Good riddance.

I wonder if any of the companies that embrace Trump and the GOP's tax plan will face similar backlash. The middle class will lose out. It'll be interesting to see how many other CEOs will be stepping down a year or two from now.

Stop pretending that it wasn't.

And, stop pretending that the players having to be on the field during the anthem has any historical relevance.
It doesn't, except in the minds of those who want to pretend that any of the protests have anything to do with the military recruitment ads that the national anthem has become.

Welcome to Donald Trumps America where everything is politicized, and everyone is at each others throats.

LOL!

You missed the part where he's still Chairman of the Board, the most powerful position in any corporation.

Of course the MSM, trying to spin a positive for the NFL knee benders doesn't tell you this.

Srsly. Trump took the NFL thing to a whole new level. Looks like Papa John's might suffer for it.

Oh well. The free market and all that jazz.

I guess some people on this forum could eat cat food and rave about it as long as the owner of the place was a right wing conservative. Sickening....

That would be Obama's America. He, and the Media made an art pf politicizing EVERYTHING. He still can't keep his mouth shut, unlike all Presidents before him. He has absolutely NO class. But, what would you expect from a Chicago Community Organizer.

To quote right-wingers when no team was signing Kaepernick: “Just because you have a right to say something, doesn’t mean you should say it.”

Those same people are now freaking out about this. But I’m “certain” it’s just a coincidence.

LOL

No they aren't.

The man is still Chairman of the Board of Papa Johns.

What part of that is not understood?
