Real estate mogul and reality TV star Donald Trump (R) says he wouldn’t get out much if he wins the Oval Office next year.
“I would rarely leave the White House because there’s so much work to be done,” Trump, 69, tells ITK. "I would not be a president who took vacations. I would not be a president that takes time off.”
“You don’t have time to take time off,” Trump adds. We caught up with the “Celebrity Apprentice” star at the Tuesday opening of a new championship golf course at his Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Va.
Lol... Actually, it's not very funny. We, the American people, are being fleeced by him to line his family's pockets. Gross.
President Donald Trump, fresh off signing his signature tax legislation, will travel from Washington down to Florida on Friday for a prolonged visit at Mar-A-Lago, his private club that sits on this tony spit of land in Southern Florida.
With him comes a host of White House aides, an abundance of Secret Service agents and the ongoing controversy around the President boosting his private businesses by making frequent visits to properties that bear the Trump name. Trump's upcoming visit to Mar-A-Lago will mark the 106th day Trump has visited one of his properties as President, a fact that critics argue helps the businessman-turned-politician boost the bottom line at The Trump Organization. Trump transferred his business holdings to a trust run by his sons before taking office earlier this year, but stopped short of selling off his holdings.
BTW he takes no salary, so it's not actually "paid".
I tried to remember if President Obama went home much but then I remembered he didn't actually have a home during his office, so that wasn't informative.
Perhaps people and the Liberal media can stop complaining about what he actually does otherwise.
Is there some time of system they're using for tracking? Like deducting all the meetings and hosting of foreign dignitaries that he does there? Some type of deductions for working at 3AM? Some type of PTO?
