Tapper then shared a statistic that could explain why it's perhaps not surprising at all that the UN voted overwhelmingly against the embassy move. From 2012-2015, the UN has adopted 97 resolutions specifically criticizing an individual country. 83 of those have targeted Israel.

So what's up with that? The U.N. is obviously anti-Israel.

Tapper attacks Venezuela, Yemen, China, and others in the video... rightly so.

The broken clock theory is the only way to explain this lapse into rational reporting...

With the abnormal amount of anti-Israel resolutions in the UN, it seems that the world has reverted back to its anti-Semitic ways again...

This is why is was so foolish of Trump to bluster before the vote. The outcome of the vote was obvious, so his comments only made US look like the bully who got his butt kicked on the school yard. Would have been better to say nothing, and then do whatever needs to be done.

Yes, everyone who dares to criticize Israel is an anti-Semite.

Only 16% of American Jews think moving the embassy is a good idea. You know who approves? Evangelical Christians. They think it means the rapture is coming.

From 2015...

The U.N.’s War on Israel

In March, the United Nations closed the annual meeting of its Commission on the Status of Women by publishing a report that effectively singled out just one country for condemnation: Israel. The commission apparently had nothing to say about the Sudanese girls who are subjected to female genital mutilation. It also had nothing to say about the Iranian women who have been punished for crimes of “adultery” by stoning. These oversights may have something to do with the fact that both Iran and Sudan sit on the 45-member commission.

...
Iran? Just one hostile resolution for a nation that, on average, executes citizens at a rate of two a day for “crimes” that include homosexuality, apostasy and the vague offense of being an “enemy of God.”

North Korea? Just one negative resolution even though it has imprisoned more than 200,000 citizens, throws children into forced labor camps and subjects its population to food shortages and famine as a result of government policies.

Syria? Again, just one resolution for a government that has pursued a war against its own people that has caused the deaths of at least 220,000 men, women and children — many by torture, starvation, chemical weapons and barrel bombs dropped on markets and schools.

...
The problem with the United Nations is that the leaders of many of its member states do not rule with the consent of the governed. Instead, they use the body as a forum to deflect attention from their own ruthless rule. In so doing, they turn a stage for courageous statecraft into a tragic theater of the absurd.

It just seems like an organization bent on targeting Israel while ignoring their own human rights issues.

So the UN condemned the US for deciding where the US wants THEIR OWN Embassy?

What exactly does the UN do? Sit idle during Rwanda, Wars in the Balkans, Russia invasion of Ukraine, Annexation of Crimea......Soudns like League of Nations 2.0.....Pull funding and sell the UN building for condos.

Trump is the "bully" at the United Nations????

From 2012-2015, the UN has adopted 97 resolutions specifically criticizing an individual country. 83 of those have targeted Israel.

To "Bully" anyone requires a minimum of 2 parties. The evidence is clear according to the Math - the State of Israel is the target of the bullies. President Trump is not the "bully" - those that would target another State in 83 out of 97 Resolutions are the "bullies".

The way to stop the Bully is to stand up for the Target of the Bully and that's exactly what the Trump Administration did.

The fact that UN Members and people around the world dislike the Jews and the State of Israel has no relevance into whether they should be allowed to Bully the State of Israel.

I don't think they dislike jews, but do dislike Israel's policies. isn't that the republicans latest chant; 'it's all about POLICY'?

when are they going to do the right thing and give the Palestinians their land back and live with a two-state reality?

that land was given to the jews by the Allies after WW2 because no other country (even the US) didn't want to take in jewish refugees. before that, arabs lived there (and they still do).

six-day war was won with the help of US weapons and monetary aid against people who had essentially nothing to fight with.

IMO they are being greedy. IMO they are being bullies.

As a Christian I scratch my head, because obviously the Bible does not mention a US embassy, so why are they so hell bent on moving the embassy there? Do they think THEY can affect the timing of the rapture? It seems they are being played.

He said he will be taking names, and threatening to cut aid, so yes, he was the bully of the week.

Should that somehow mean UN has not been targeting Israel? No, it simply means Trump made an ass out of himself and the Unites States. UN has been bullying Israel, but thanks to Trump now we look like the bad guy.

I am fine walking out of the UN, but this childishness has to end.
