Being a neo-Nazi or Nazi sympathizer is merely the window dressing to this story. Insert various other motives for parents not wanting their daughter to be involved with a boy: he's black, he's white, he's rich, he's poor, he's Catholic, he's not Catholic.

The bottom line is all young people lack the emotional maturity and intelligence to understand normal healthy relationships...to some degree.

Some kids are way behind in that area and if you combine that with possible other factors (broken homes, undiagnosed/untreated mental health issues) you get this result.

Happens all the time.

We'll see if any more details emerge but his ideology wasn't the driving force in this tragedy based on what I've seen.
It kind of was . . since his ideology is what made the parents disapprove of him in the first place. No point in focusing in on 'all young people" or 'many fine people' on this one.

A nazi sympathizer and a murderer. I wonder how soon Trump will issue a statement blaming 'both sides'.

He wasn't an Antifa (that's a different brand of crazy). He was at the very least Alt Right even if he wasn't a full blown Nazi.

Ive seen this exact story hundreds of times. Just replace the parents disapproving of the boy for Nazism with skin color, religion, social class, cultural interests, etc.

Some parents would disapprove of their kid's SO if he wasn't a Nazi, racist, etc.

For me it's impossible to tell who fired the first shot.. the jews or Hitler, but one thing can't be refuted. When the nazi party gained power in 1933 Hitler passed a law abolishing any other party from being created, so despite not even having half the population's support he basically gave himself dictatorship levels of power. For that reason he needed to be stopped. All dictatorships should be stopped (cough North Korea cough)

On This Day: Nazis Ban All Other Political Parties

In any case what needs to be said about this particular story has been said... unstable teenager who's parents tried to get in the way of his love went postal. Don't get in the way between a man and his girl.

Jews fired the first shot ? Don't get in the way of a man and his girl ? I always appreciate the lively intellectual debates on CD.

This was a boy, a private school boy, and the girl was their daughter. Seems they only did what any parent would try to do - keep their daughter from negative influences. It is very unfortunate that their judgement was proven tragically correct and now both kids will grow up without parents.
