The problem with trying to have conversations like these are numerous. Already I've read posts equivocating dog ownership to ownership of firearms, asserting exceptions as rules, and anthropomorphizing non-human species for the purpose of supporting one or more forms of bias that detract from an otherwise worthy discussion.
Insofar as the topic's concerned, the hysteria and intellectual dishonesty seems to go in both directions to the extent that I'm unsure where to begin replying.
Then why did you do so?
Go away...come back when you have something worth posting.
There have been I think 6 pit bull related deaths in Dec. 2017 so far. Those are only the ones I have stumbled across on the news. Not sure if this is the right place to post such a thread but it bears awareness.
Can someone please link me to an article with how many people are killed annually by Golden Retrievers or other breeds? I'm curious about the comparison.

You are trying to compare apples to oranges. Most Golden Retrievers are not raised to be aggressive dogs, brought up in an abusive environment etc. Every dog regardless of breed is going to have it's own character, some are super friendly and some are not. Anyone of them can be dangerous if you raise it to be dangerous.
Pit bulls are mongrels. That's why few look alike. They seem to be selected for meanness and power. They are favored by gang members and drug dealers. When one harms a person it should be destroyed and its owner put in jail.

"31 U.S. dog bite-related fatalities occurred in 2016. Despite being regulated in Military Housing areas and over 900 U.S. cities, pit bulls contributed to 71% (22) of these deaths. Pit bulls make up about 6% of the total U.S. dog population."
When 6% of the dog population is responsible for 71% of dog bite related fatalities, then yes, that my friend is a violent breed, on average.
Lol, yet when talking about human crime, basing discussion on stats goes out the door, and in its place are accusations of stereotyping and racism. Either stats matter or they do not.
At that, given what they define as a "pitbull"...basically any dog that has a resemblance of a mollosser they claim it is a pitbull. You will also notice how many times when an attack happens, they will claim "pitbull mix", but leave out what the other mix is and hell, they did not do a DNA test or anything.
I think the pitbull claim jumped the shark a few years agao when the news reported here in Miami an owner got killed by her pitbulls, but then days later it came out they were actually pure bred boxers, of course the correction buried and not out on the front page like the original news. Another story in some other state about an attack showed clearly it was not a pitbull by the pictures, yet that was the claim the media and police stuck to.

In light of that statistic it's basically impossible to deny that pitbulls tend to be violent, on average. When 6% of the dog population is responsible for 71% of dog attack fatalities, that indicates a violent breed. There is no other logical explanation.
Why? Because they are the new favorite of the trashy people, just as Doberman's were in the 80's, and Rottweiler's were in the 90's, or did you forget/not around for the hype back then?
But yea, I do not even like them but damn, the hype over them is way, way too much given the actual impact they have. if they were truly dangerous as some people claim, your stats would be much, much, much higher given the number of them.

I think you need to either stop lying, or add a little references to your claims, because...I did a search for one, and it was the only one, "Sharon Lindemann, 75, was on October 30, 2017 killed by two pit bulls in her driveway in Hartman, Arkansas." and in no article did I find where they stated it was two pitbulls as you claim.
