Universal healthcare

Affordable college education

Investment in technology education for all

Decrease in military spending

Affordable housing

Corporate welfare

Marijuana reform

All the things young forward thinking people care about. Abortions, abuse of religion in government , wars are a negative aspect attached to the gop that young people don’t care about. Young people need feeling defeated and neglected by both parties. Housing, healthcare and education all rising. Young adults without rich parents are starting their independency later in life than baby boomers due to the high cost of everything and stagnant wages. The dems bread and butter will be young adults next election

This attitude is precisely why the Democrats are in peril losing even more seats during the mid-term elections. Their incessant petulance and whining, irrational hysteria, and intolerance of anyone who dares disagree with them is appalling. I'm a registered Independent and never vote along party lines. My message to you is this: You lost to Donald Trump. I'm pretty sure a house fly could have beaten him, yet you lost. It wasn't because of Russian collusion or sexism or any other such nonsense. It's because a huge portion of the population is tired of SJWs, race-mongering, identity-based politics, and the Dem's insistence that everyone who isn't reasonably successful (and some who are) have been victimized by some illusive boogeyman that is apparently hiding around the corner.

A more recent example:
Roy Moore barely lost to Doug Jones. Think about that. That fact that the Alabama election was so close should scare the crap out of Democrats, but they hail it as some sort of harbinger. Dems are so clueless, it is almost like we're living in nationwide episode of "Candid Camera" and Alan Funt will appear at any minute and shout "You're on Candid Camera!"

Not that some Republics haven't become unhinged as well, but Democrats/Liberals have taken bat-crap cra-cra to whole new levels.

Socialism for all!!!!

Pay for your own stuff.

Want a college degree? You pay for it.

Want a pill? Pay for your own healthcare.

Affordable housing exists. Live within your means.

Do not decrease military spending; our forces depend on the lowest bidder as it is.

I'll bite:

Affordable college education
The last time the government tried to help higher education, the result was the current bubble in which tuition is astronomically high. The same thing happened when the government pressured mortgage lenders to give loans to folks without proper vetting.

Investment in technology education for all
Some folks simply are not wired to understand technology. That's OK, but what you're suggesting is along the lines of saying that with enough education, I could be a great artist or musician. It doesn't work that way. We should be focusing less on higher education (there's a glut of college graduates working outside their field of study) and more on not brain washing young people to think skilled trades are beneath them. Working at The Gap with an MFA doesn't make you better than a master HVAC tech, ASE certified auto mechanic, etc.

Decrease in military spending
So, on the one hand you want to help more people got to college and are a proponent of technology education, but you want to gut an industry that employees hundreds of thousands of highly educated engineers, scientists, etc? What do you suppose is going to happen when all of those folks suddenly have to compete for jobs with people have luxury degrees (degrees with minimal practical value)? I'm all for less war mongering, but its not as simple as cutting defense spending.

Affordable housing
This isn't a systemic problem. Let's focus on real issues

Basically, you've simply listed a bunch of feel-good sound bites. That's not a plan.

Well, its clear, Democrats believe that its an atrocious act that Americans should keep more of their hard earned money.
This land is our land, and this land isn't your land
Your money belongs in our hands, don't be cheap, just pay more taxes
If you work hard, you owe the slackers and you don't deserve to keep it,
This land was made for you and me.

Lifelong Democrat myself who swung away from the party last year. I no longer understand the language that they speak.

There are so many of us out here now.

Will Democrats start working for the people? Let's see.......

What does the Democrat party have as leadership these days?
  • John Lewis?
  • Sheila Jackson Lee?
  • Debbie Wasserman Schultz?
  • Kamila Harris?
  • Maxine Waters?
  • Chuck Schumer?
  • Nancy Pelosi?
Hmmm......

Conclusion: Nope

What a wonderful list and what it says about how the effects of indoctrination replaced education.

Affordable college education = solution socialism

Investment in technology education for all = tech. to enhance socialism in education

Decrease in military spending = the goal of socialism to weaken the country

Affordable housing = Socialism. People love, two room, Soviet Block Housing.

Corporate welfare = end socialism selectively to better pick winners and losers to enhance gov. socialism

Marijuana reform = get high to live out the fantasy of socialism with unicorns as politicians
