This is one thing Trump supporters don't understand (or refuse to). Trump isn't gaining any supporters. Meanwhile people who stayed home or voted for Gary Johnson will likely be voting Democrat in 2020. It won't take much to swing the rust belt back to blue and that's all it will take for Trump to be defeated. Trump can win every state he won in 2016 in the South but if he doesn't keep the rust belt, he loses.
Really? Even if the Dems nominate a crappy candiate like Hillary 2.0 Kirsten Gillibrand? Even if they run on open borders? Affirmative action, and race baitinng?
Good Morning Kitty,
So, Serious Question:
What IF Trump does not run, lots of possible reasons, but for just a moment let's say he is not going to run again, Job Done and all that. Now who will the GOP run for President? Forget Pence he is not even a long shot, so who? Ryan, doubtful, McConnell, too disliked and old, Cruz, even more disliked, I believe the rest are too RINO for most Trump supporters, so who would you suggest?
Non Sequitur.
Trump will be the GOP 2020 nominee. You guys better get used to it and start deciding which Democrat will take him on. So far, there field is well...... nothing.
The best way to get rid of Trump is to let him fulfill all of his campaign promises in his first term. Then he'd have no reason to stay and could enjoy the rest of his life.

Democrats don't believe in 'open borders' and the biggest race baiter in modern presidential history is your own orange dumpling.
By 2020 the economy will be humming along, business-killing regulations will be gone, a conservative Supreme Court will be in place for the next generation, the military will be rebuilt and America will be well on it's way to being great again. Not much for him to do in a second term, so I think he'll retire in Florida and play golf and sit on his laurels.
Trump promised to send illegals back to their native countries, something I felt he was lying about during the campaign, and its looking like he will grant amnesty. They wont call it amnesty but if they get to stay that's what it will be.
He got elected on two main issues, the offshoring of American jobs & the promise to send illegals back. If he fails on the latter I don't see him even winning the Republican nomination. Those who showed up at his rallies in droves will abandon him. An establishment Republican, perhaps Sen. Rob Portman or current U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. & former Governor of S. Carolina Nikki Haley, will eat his lunch and win the nomination. No branding his opponents with repetitious name calling will help him in 2020.
For Democrats who believe that means they'll win the presidency in 2020, sorry to disappoint you but it doesn't look like they learned much from their failures in 2016. Still pandering to their base ignoring the unrepresented masses.
Neither of the two ruling parties can get out of their own way. When either party has the advantage they legislate for their base, against the best interests of the country and most of our citizens. I have voted for the least worst candidate for the last time. I've said that before but this time I'll carry through with that promise to myself. We need a proper third party to save us from this nonsense.
I don't think he will run again or he will be primaried. At least I hope so.
bhaaaa! wishful thinking.....he will be primaried on what? taxes? conservative judges? immigration? .....what RINO is going to challenge him on and on what grounds? lol
