since Bernie's success in his national campaign for president, the democrats' message has moved quickly towards democratic socialism: free healthcare, free college, $15 minimum wage, anti-capitalism, equality of outcomes, and income equality.

Dems are in crisis, no ideas, no candidates, no future.

As a live long democrat, I recently attended a democratic fund raiser in Dallas and gotta say, I was NOT impressed. If the party cannot communicate a clear vision of what they stand for and what they aim to accomplish, they have no business running a campaign. All that I heard was back slapping and self promotion. And if I, as someone who has never voted for a Republican in over 40 years cannot hear a cohesive message, they are in serious trouble. I would probably vote for John Kasich if he ran again, in the absence of a democrat who can communicate a clear vision. Very discouraging.

Exactly....
All the normal, rational, common sense, and law-abiding voters have dropped out of the democrat party, and the Ds are now desperate for new future voters. Remember this last election they honored the father of a terrorist, ISIS endorsed them, the American Communist Party endorsed them, BLM endorsed them, the San Bernadino terrorists were registered democrat donors, and the violent racist New Black Panther Party endorsed them.

oh......and don't forget Rosie O'Donnell endorsed them - LOL

I'm 66 and was a lifelong democrat until it became the party of STUPID.
When was the last time you heard anything intelligent coming from that party?

Most of us have switched to Independent as a show of protest with BOTH parties.
Independents are now the largest voting group.

Somehow, I'm not sure that you're entirely clear on the definition of the word "platform".

Default Do the democrats have any platform yet, other than "at least we're not Trump"?

Democrats do seem lost.

Since Trump's election, the right to pee in the bathroom of your choice has morphed into the right to pee in your pants daily.
