Seeing other people hurt warms the cockles of Trump supporters hearts.

Only if they knew that in most cases the taxpayer takes over funding failed pensions companies. Its the law.

The states that actually lost population are:

Wyoming
Mississippi
West Virginia
North Dakota
Alaska
Louisiana
Puerto Rico
Hawaii
Illinois
Red states are not the group, in aggregate, losing electoral votes.

Blue states are losing votes.

Votes = power

Where does it say that? New York grew by 13,000, the article itself states that. Illinois lost population but so did six red states. California did not lose population, it grew by a quarter million. It's depressing to see that Washington grew more as a percentage than Texas.

State and local taxpayers are paying for the Democrats mess in Illinois and its sounding like Connecticut and New jersey soon. Puerto rico is another left wing ****show.

My sister just moved from Chicago to Atlanta with her husband , Illinois is a mess. Since 2009, 89 cents of every new dollar for education in Illinois has gone to teachers’ retirement costs, leaving around 11 cents for actual education. Illinois’ annual pension bill for the fiscal year starting next summer will be $8.5 billion, one-fourth of the state’s full budget. Illinois pensions are just treading water and the stock market is booming, what happens when it slows down

NY grew under .01%. Nations growth will be about 300 times that %.

And that's not the Right's responsibility? They set out specifically to screw over residents of states like CA, NY and NJ. That doesn't make it an exodus of people who dislike their home, just those who don't feel like paying more taxes that can go into the pockets of Trump and his cronies. And we know 100% that is what's happening because Trump said as much himself

The corrupt Politicians in IL gave away the farm for Union support and votes. Let that state figure out a solution to their problems.

Going to be especially tough when you see companies like State Farm and Caterpiller moving their employees out of state.

But that's their problem. The state and the unions bought it, they own it.

Very true. I escaped NY in 1994. Western (and most of upstate) NY was a mess-boarded up businesses, miles of abandoned, rusting factories, abandoned homes. Rochester was the highpoint of WNY, with Kodak helping them hold on. We know how that turned out. Worst part was that high property taxes killed housing prices. I'm glad I bailed out when I did-things have gotten a lot worse on the political side.

Flip side...I live in the state with the highest in-migration (by %). Housing prices are getting crazy around here in North Idaho.
