I voted for Nixon in '72.

As the Watergate scandal unfolded, I was like many of today's Trumplings. I shrugged it off as sour grapes the Dems were selling because of their big loss. But as more and more info became public, it was clear that Nixon was too flawed and far too damaged to serve any further. I welcomed Ford (and voted for him in '76).

As this Russiagate drama plays out, many tRump allies will turn against him and today's rational Trumplings will fall silent as they watch him go down.

The low-info poorly educated hardcores will whimper and deny.

It's very entertaining.

I see you woke up today feeling the need to post a bunch of posts trying to defend or support Trump.

A loyal follower -- I'm sure Trump appreciates it and needs all the support he can muster.
There seems to be a rash of propaganda type posts this week--the kind you would expect for the NK dear leader.

Maybe they're giving out bonuses for volume of posts?

They can make up all the theories and attempt to discredit Mueller as much as they like, but Mueller is forging right ahead. As for any assertions that "Trump dominated Mueller", on what planet do these people live ? Trump has brought a knife to a gun fight, and his knife is pretty damn dull. Mueller was the PERFECT choice for this task.

I swear, these people get sillier by the hour !
it never ceases to amaze me that the left is constantly comparing this russian investigation to watergate, and the two couldnt be further apart. with watergate they were investigating a REAL crime, evidence was constantly being leaked to the press, as well s being uncovered by the press. woodward and bernstein both used solid investigative reporting techniques and proper reporting procedures, and put together credible stories, no fake news there.

and as the investigation commenced, and more evidence came out, nixon truly did get deeper into trouble.

on the other hand with this russian thing, no evidence has been put forward, at least none that is credible, that there was collusion with the russians, there is still no evidence of a crime being committed, except the low hanging fruit of improperly filled out paperwork, lying to the FBI, and other low hanging fruit that is akin to a speeding ticket for the average person.

at this point every time mueller makes a move in the investigation, the left wing pundits go nuts saying this is the end of trump, that he is going down, etc. and then nothing happens. and this has been going on for more than a year.

on the other hand, there are real issues, again with real evidence, that there are problems with the investigators on mueller staff, and that this investigation has gone far beyond the original scope of the investigation, and that the investigation team is letting their political bias against trump get in the way of a proper investigation.

You could not be any more incorrect. Indited trump staffers are falling all over themselves to get plea deals.

and its all low hanging fruit, stuff that is a bull crap "crime" like going 75 in a 60 zone. get real. don jr was hoping to get opposition research on hillary, flynn lied about things that either happened before he worked for trump, or after trump had won the election, and thus he didnt have to lie about those things.

these are all process crimes, and not worthy of anything.
