Volcanoes have the ability to change the climate drastically for many, many years. It happens on a regular basis on earth. It will happen again. It's just a matter of time.

Pot meet kettle.
No, we didn't.

That global warming thing, sure sucks!
I am in the continental US of A and we here are almost 20 degrees above average, and quite possibly looking at the warmest winter recorded in over 100 years. Also haven't seen a drop of rain or snow in 3 months.

Global warming (as conservatives "understand" it) sure seems to be in full effect from where I am sitting.

What was the temp while you were jogging?

Unlike some conservatives -- I'm not going to deny that the planet's temperatures, are for the most part, getting warmer over past 25 years. Great Lakes freezing over notwithstanding.

However....I'll ask you the same question I asked MtnLover a few posts ago.

What do you propose to do about it? And don't just say raise taxes. What are you going to do with that extra tax money, and how are you going to control what China and India and the rest of the world is doing?

If you don't have an answer, then I suggest that there is nothing we can do about it, and therefore I will cross this item off my list of things to worry about.

Lots of things can be done to reduce AGW.

If that is meant to be sarcastic, to undercut the idea of impending environmental disaster, I should point out that it aligns with predictions that the weather will become progressively more extreme. Well-informed people know that.
