Problem with the claim is that while the chain migration and lottery need to end when it comes to DACA most of Congress, both Dems and Repubs alike, believe DACA should stay in effect, meaning they can pass a Bill on it and will not need trumps approval at all. I would also point out that even trump says DACA should stay because of their circumstances, so is he really willing to harm those people to force his Wall on us? I would also point out that the Wall would have to be part of the Budget and right now there is no Budget, and if DACA is not addressed there will be no Budget passed, period, so maybe trump should rethink his threat since that threat is a double edged sword that cuts both ways.

Nonsense. If they felt that were true, with a veto proof majority, they would have done so.

Dems didn't even attempt to pair DACA and the year end fund the government resolution.

There are some in both parties who want open borders, but not even a plurality. That is why months have passed w/o a single bill being put to a single vote on DACA.

March 6, 2018..not far away.

And there it is. The line has been drawn in the sand and rightfully so. When the 6 month non-enforcement period is up and no deal is done because Democrats can't come to a deal to protect the dreamers that are here because they don/t want the illegal Aliens flooding into this country to end prepare to see ICE working 24 hours a day rounding these criminals up. Dems had there chances numerous time to get this deal done when they controlled all three branches of government and failed to get it done. Trump, on the other hand, continues to keep campaign promises and make Democrats look like the lying hypocrites they are. They look very bad. Terrible optics.

You mean the President that continues to keep the campaign promises he ran on. You know Don1945, for an old man you really need to grow up. Give it a rest already.

Do you not understand Trumps tweet? "People can stay if we can build the wall".

Now, can we raise taxes to pay for all of this? I've said all along that you can NOT deport all the millions here illegally. It's impossible. Some would self deport if we went after the employers but Trump is not going to do that.
How will the wall make it harder for illegals to leave? You do know that there will be legit points of entry and exit along the wall, don't you? There is nothing to stop illegals from leaving.

BTW, no one is talking about mass roundups and deportations. Make life so hard for illegals that they will leave on their own accord. Would you stay someplace if you couldn't find work or tap into any welfare programs?

President Trump has the democrats by the throat .. If they don't bargain with DACA and give Trump what he wants , the dreamers will hate the democrats for not getting them what they want. They will turn against the democrats if they don't trade with Trump.

He ran on sending all those here illegally home. Here he is saying he won't do that.

Being that just about all that come here are criminals according to Trump, are criminals going to go through official channels?

Trump is not going to do anything on the work side. He could have already done that. It would have been easy to have stuck it in the tax bill. Until that happens it's all talk.
