I agree. The Democratic party isn't the same party I once knew that had the good of the country first and politics second. It has become unrecognizable. It's filled with Militant, Marxist members that want a one world order. They want government control over every aspect of our lives. We were well on our way when and when Trump got elected we got ourselves a glimmer of hope to right the ship. It's going to take a long time to weed out the deep state that has become so entrenched in our country the past 12 years or so.

The Republicans have, as ever, played the rich against everyone else card. You just haven't noticed.

Attachment 193892
I disagree. Republicans have always been for less taxes, less government etc... For whatever reason, the left has used that to accuse Republicans of class warfare. It's just not true. In addition, listen to the socialist Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton when they both said that they believe a person is rich if he or she makes $50,000 a year. That amount of money is not considered Median income in most of the country. You may not be impoverished but you aren't saving much and are still living week to week.

That attachment isn't exactly accurate. Cops, at least in NY can deduct their uniform costs from their local, or state taxes. Just because it's not a federal deduction doesn't mean a deduction at a different level doesn't exist.

Let the dems have their Alabama win. It might be the last thing they have to celebrate for quite a long time.

Newt, making predictions...............whatever.

We shall see, I do feel confident that far more voters than usual for a mid-term election will be voting, many have learned the lesson about not voting.

Apparently if they had a private jet they could deduct it from their Federal income taxes, but not the tools of their trade.

Seems that cops and craftspeople have to pay more so that Mnuchin and Trump can deduct their jets. Is that agreeable to you?

I am seriously considering switching to the Democrats. I am almost certain I will unless the mid-terms show me a different face of the Republican party. This is a period of serious discernment for me.

If anything Democrats are not hateful, quite the opposite. I don't know how you could get such an idea.

Who would ever believe a thing Gingrich says? The man has been irrelevant for a long time. He is a political Hack though. Most immoral of the old Republicans
