If you don't realize that, you're incredibly naive.

It is about crimes against the state, and crimes against the people of the United States.

No tale you can lay out before us excuses the crimes.
I realize that Democrats need to keep telling themselves that to make them feel less icky and to try to come off as patriotic.

Problem is that even most of you don't really believe that this is motivated by anything other than your hatred for Trump.

And you expect us to believe it? Lol.

^^^ OPERATION CONSPIRACY THEORY ^^^

Very common among Breitbarties and AlexJonesies. Afflicts a lot of FoxNewsies too.

They'll believe any claim that reinforces their willful misconceptions.

Not hate!

Disgust maybe. He brings it upon himself.

Anyway the likelihood that the man has betrayed his country with a foreign power is very real. You can't make this stuff up folks!

Yes we have interfered in foreign elections but just indicating it happens a lot doesn't fly as an excuse to not go forward. There may very well be no collusion but there was certainly plenty of eye opening comments by Trump both before and after the election that should make you wonder.

It would be best if Trump and others just took a step back and let the investigation proceed, he could learn a lot from Reagans behavior during Iran-Contra.

How is Trump or anyone else not allowing the investigation to proceed?

Trump has stated repeatedly that he has no plans to fire Mueller, despite the Left not only thinking he will, but practically salivating at the thought of it.

Is Trump not allowed to criticize the investigation or the premise behind it?

He already has, so that's a non-starter.

It is well known that Trump wants this investigation to go away. He already fired one person to try and quash it, therefore many feel it is necessary to protect Mueller from a similar attack. That is prudence.

Democrats :

"Trump is a stupid, incompetent and dangerously impulsive oaf".

Also Democrats:

"Trump's collusion with Russia was so sneaky, so well planned and executed, that even after over a years worth of thousands of people in multiple intelligence agencies and the media investigating it, there is still not a shread of evidence that Trump is guilty of so much as jaywalking".

The FBI is looking kind of stupid and bias lately. I bet Mueller wished he could end this witch hunt and still save face. As time goes on we see more bias and collusion of the FBI with the democratic party. It back fired.

I am still wondering why they are investigating and what they are looking for. Collusion isn't even a crime.
I guess this investigation have you worried about what they may find. I know you are so ready for this to be over with, but you have to be patient and let it play out. If you always believed there is really nothing to find, then relax and don't worry about a thing.

In other words you have no defense for your dear leader.

I don't think he is very stupid, but he has used poor judgment more than once.

I don't think he nor his campaign could have coordinated the Russian efforts, that was all on the Russians themselves, but they did have a price.

The Russian government found a sympathetic politician in Trump who already had multiple financial ties to rich Russians, men who lent him money and also had connections to the highest offices in the Kremlin. Trump also had been personally affected (or potentially affected) by the sanctions, as had other US businesses (like ExxonMobil). The motivation was already there to lift the sanctions.

Russia wanted to mess with our electoral process for their own reasons, but saw that a sympathizer like Trump could lift the sanctions over the Crimea crises. The Russians probably made an offer the Trump team could hardly refuse. They must have been so excited they could hardly keep from wetting their pants!

Recent revelations have shown the Papadopoulos knew the Russians had a treasure trove of Clinton campaign emails two months before they were released through Wikileaks.

He knew this because the Russians told him, or told someone else in the campaign who passed the information along.

When Trump won the nomination, his campaign insisted that the Republican platform regarding Ukraine/Crimea be changed. Clearly all these contacts with Russia were not just friendly chats.
