Some religions do not believe in war either, so why is the government using their money to wage wars. So how about you cut funding to birth control and everyone else can cut what they find is objectionable, Deal?
Medically necessary forms of hormonal birth control fall in to a different category than birth control for all on the tax payer's dime.
I don't see the problem with folks taking personal responsibility and paying out of their own pockets for "having fun" when it comes to their choice of birth control.

Why would insurance cover Viagra yet not birth control.
Yet Viagra is ok to pay for. That's men for you Birth control pills are used for many health issues with women. Did you know this?
No, no, not all of us are that stupid. Some of us realize that a woman should be free to make decisions about her own body. No one likes abortion, but it hurts my head that the "religious conservatives" also dislike a pill that keeps countless women from having to make that choice.
The old saying is "If men became pregnant, abortion would be the law of the land." and no truer words were ever spoken. I see these old men standing along the road with "Right to live" signs, and they don't even have a dog in that fight.
So as a start...do you know that birth control medications are also used for treating other conditions?
The original birth control medications were originally approved for severe menstrual cramps. The first drug approved which is a contraceptive is norethindrone. They didn't even realize it could be a contraceptive until it was tested. Since they were studying it as a contraceptive, they did not have the data to confirm it. The FDA had them list fertility loss as a side effect for it.
Very few insurances cover erectile dysfunction drugs but almost all of them cover oral contraceptives. This was the case even before the mandate. Erectile dysfunction drugs are banned for coverage for Medicare.
Hang on -- how does it discriminate on religious liberty.
Nobody is FORCING those who are anti birth control to use Obamacare to take birth control.
It's still a choice -- you have the liberty to opt out of birth control for yourself and you don't have the right to dictate or push your religious rules on someone else.
It's all good.
As for companies -- are you telling me every company that has a problem with birth control makes sure everyone of its employees are having sex without some form of control? Really?
I remember female adolescents coming into the clinic with severe disfiguring acne. Accutane is a medication that clears acne totally and for good in 99% within 6 months. Except Accutane causes extreme birth defects during pregnancy so female teens have to take birth control while on that drug (abstinence is not considered reliable in teens). Religious parents chose to let their children become disfigured with acne scaring and to continue to have pustules and infections on their faces rather that to take birth control. How sad for those teens.
