Perhaps you should learn the meaning of term Leftist instead of trying to use it as a universal slur.

women athletes are required to compete against biological men who identify as women. women bathers must allow men who self-identify as women in their dressing rooms.

First of all, leftists thought men (or people in general) can choose whatever gender they identify with, and allowed them in women's bathrooms. Now they want to let men into women's only places.

i will go you one further, the progressives want to end mens clubs, womens clubs, etc. and make everyone equal in the eyes of the law, and then turn around and want to divide countries into left and right wing factions.

If a person is transitioning that means they have started but not completed the transition yet. Therefore the transitioning person should not be permitted to use either female or male facilities. They need to make other temporary arrangements for themselves that does not involve other people. That temporary self-exclusion is one of the sacrifices they need to make if they choose to change themselves. Once they have fully completed their physical transition then it's okay for them to use the facilities of the gender they have transitioned to. Nobody else will be any the wiser and should have nothing to complain about.
Likewise with people who claim that they self-identify with an opposite gender but haven't taken steps to make the transition. Simply identifying with something doesn't make it real, it's just a fantasy. They need to fully make the physical transition first before they can participate in events or in activities or at places that are for the gender that they identify with.
Personally I think it's a lame excuse for people to use the left or the right to pass the buck to. Both left and right should be responsible for setting proper guidelines for all the special people with special needs for recognition. Special people fall into all categories of left, right and everywhere else in between. So quit trying to pass the buck.
