Thats not "far left". Thats simply corrupt elites diverting people's attention instead of focusing on the real issues of a rigged economy held up by a corrupt system of campaign finance.

His secretary doesn’t pay nearly as much as him in taxes.

I’d bet he probably pays over $20 million each year in Federal taxes? Do you honestly believe his secretary pays anything approaching $1 million?

Do you find it interesting that he continually battles the IRS over taxes if he really believes he should pay more? Gullible much?

Your own link shows Wyoming, North Dakota and Texas as the top 3 unequal states. All 3 red states.
What table are you looking at? Table 2, which has the ratio between the top 1% and everyone else, does not have any of those states in the top 5.

Nothing is keeping those people from writing a check to the treasury/paying more. They want a change in policy that will cause others to pay more.

Warren Buffet doesn't pay less in income taxes than his secretary, he pays a lower rate/percentage of his income than his secretary does.

I was looking at Table 1. Perhaps that wasn't the correct one to look at.

A more recent version (by 1 year) of your link is here:
Income inequality in the U.S. by state, metropolitan area, and county | Economic Policy Institute
Table 1 here appears to be the equivalent of Table 2 in your link. And here, California is #7, just ahead of Texas and below Wyoming and Nevada, among others.

That’s income growth not the inequality ratio.

The inequality rate is Table 2.

It's not 2016 anymore:

CA, NY and virtually every blue state lags behind...Mississippi for economic growth.

As I said in post #1, the data I showed was for a full year. You are showing just one quarter. There is going to be a lot more random noise over a 1-quarter interval than a full-year interval.
