Of course, the reality is that Mississippi is riddle with poor whites and poor blacks, but that wouldn't fit the right-wing agenda, so we'll see no mention of reality on this forum.
The overwhelming majority of those in poverty in Mississippi are black.

The State is (and has been) as red as it gets, and its doing horribly, so it makes sense Republicans blame the residents, not the Republican leadership.

You can't make this crap up

I know quite a few liberal racists. They don't believe they are because they want large social programs for African Americans. Because they believe African Americans won't survive without those programs. They don't believe that blacks can compete with whites with an even playing field. It is racism if someone believes one race is inferior to another.

It is the blackest state. So you are blaming black people for the situation in Mississippi? And many black people vote republican in Mississippi. The subtle racism of the left.

Except that I'm not blaming democrats - or republicans for that matter.

Mississippi is a mess. Anyone with any get up and go has got up and gone.

It is 49th in dental care.

West Virginia holds down the #50 spot, but the competition is keen.

If we are talking about Mississippi and it’s poor conditions, we should point out who got it there.

This is actually true. But the fact that liberals do that shows that the issue is not politics, it's demographics.

The cons here tell everyone that liberal cites are ratholes and cite East St Louis and Gary as examples. Except that liberals can retort with a Boulder or a Portland in response, which are just as liberal as East St Louis and Gary but are far nicer. The difference between the two sets of cities is not politics, but demographics.

But the cons here simply hate liberals and liberalism so much, they cannot see the real issue and instead focus on blaming the political ideology they hate so much. They pretend to be blind to race, which gives them an excuse to accuse the liberals of being racist, when in reality they themselves are no different.
