So Trump supporters OK with it? Really? Getting assistance from a foreign power to help with an election would be OK, nothing illegal there? If a Democrat had colluded with Russians to help them it would be OK, it's not illegal. I doubt very much it would be OK with Republicans. I think that is delusional.

It all depends on what assistance you are talking about. I’m not ok with the campaign doing anything illegal. But I’m fine with information being used if it is out there. Information is used by both parties to damage their opponents. As long as it is real information, I don’t care where it came from.

That is the difference. It has been proven (and re-proved) that Russia generated a TON of fake news that helped Trump. It has not been proven yet that Trump was involved in that (I believe it will be), but there is absolutely no doubt that it happened, and that he benefited from it.
Would he have won without the Russian help? Nobody really knows. But your comment "as long as it is real" is spot on. Unfortunately, it does not help your cause.
