Anyone who believes that corporations hand out bonuses and wage increases based on future earnings or savings might want to do some reading on how, why, when where corporations make changes in compensation and base bonuses on.
Wow, so generous. BTW one of the last quarters I've seen for AA the profit was something like 1.5 billion. EMployee number 130 thousand.
I also wonder what fraction of the upcoming HC premiums increase would a 1000 bucks cover. The mandate is gone so now somebody else ( I wonder who that is) will foot the bill.
And, in the fourth quarter of 2013 when they lost $2 billion, how much should the employees have paid AA stockholders?
The federal reserve rescued the economy. Note they bought Trillions in buying Treasury bonds and mortgage-backed and US agency securities in buying Treasury bonds and mortgage-backed and US agency securities in the open market.
Quantitative easing did the trick. In point of fact, Ben Bernanke and Janet Yellen after him both spoke often of the need for the Obama Administration to provide fiscal stimulus to aid in the recovery. He did not. Oh, and that puny 900 billion? That was already baked into the budget by the outgoing Bush administration.
None of the forgoing is disputable. The only thing fake is your attribution.
Yeah, the only problem with your explanation is that the GOP was against Quantitative easing at the time, hated Paulson, Bernanke and Yellen. Oh, but now it's the reason the economy recovered.
And of course now Trump is the only reason the stock market is still going up. Except that markets in other countries are also going up where he has no effect on their economies whatsoever. So don't try to sell the line that one president gets credit for a good economy and another one doesn't.
