If he were a black man in the US you guys would call him a fugitive and say that the people housing him should be charged as accomplices.
What charges?

The charges in Sweden have been dropped.

The US has not (as far as we publicly know) charged Assange with any crimes.

The UK could arrest him for skipping bail, but the rape charges associated with that bail have been dropped.

Of course Assage committed no crime.
Its 'kill the messenger' syndrome.

Of course a tyrannical Govt is going to go after someone who is a threat to them...a patriot IS A terrorist in the eyes of a tyrannical Govt.

I'm calling BS. The second he steps out of the embassy he'll be arrested. Fake news anyway.

Literal interpretation often thwarts communication among wordsmiths and lawyers when faced with improper word usage by people without a law or journalism degree. .

April 2017
"US prepares charges to seek arrest of WikiLeaks' Julian Assange"

"LONDON — The United Nations ruled Friday that WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been "arbitrarily detained" by the United Kingdom and Sweden since he was arrested in 2010 and that he should be allowed to leave Ecuador's Embassy in London without facing arrest."

OK, repeat after me:

The US President cannot pardon a foreigner in a foreign legal system!!! Trump is the US president. The US stands for United States. He only has pardon power in America.

Besides Assange was never arrested, in US or anywhere.
.

No links, again?

If he accepts a pardon, he admits he is guilty of a crime.

If they can not identify a Federal crime, I can't see how he can be pardoned for one.

BTW, He was supposedly instrumental in disseminating the Manning and Snowden classified materials. Trump would be ok with that? Trump supporters would be ok with that? It doesn't really look good or smell good, even though no charges have been brought. Conservatives would normally be outraged.

Where do you get this stuff?

To me it looks (if true) like gratitude for political services to the Trump campaign. What could it look like to you?

Translation: Trump wants to stop Assange from ratting on people from the Trump Campaign for their role in RussiaGate. Trump must have gotten word that Assange is about the "make a deal" with Mueller's team and Trump doesn't want Assange to snitch.

So why hasn't he left?
