You may not like the way it was delivered, (and personally, neither do I), but Trump actually was delivering a serious and needed message to Kim Jung Un with that statement. The message is that of deterrence. Kim is the one sabre rattling, not Trump, about nuclear buttons. Trump was merely reminding him that he is not the only one with nuclear weapons. Should Kim unwisely decide to actually use a nuke, Trump was reminding him what the consequences would be.
I think Trump is continuing to bait the anti-Trumpites, keeping them off balance and focused on meaningless tweets, rather than substantive issues (taxes, budgets, healthcare, etc). He doesn't have to prove that he is the President -- and their continued efforts to claim he isn't acting "Presidential" make them look silly!
The simple fact is it doesn't matter what Trump says or does, the left is going to attack it. - So, he continues to make them look confused and impotent as they dither about meaningless tweets, Russian collusion in the election and Steve Bannon quotes -- (This only serves to further diminish the credibility of the left (in the eyes of voters) when it comes to real issues).
