Trump just broke up with Pakistan. China had been wanting Pakistan to use Chinese currency for international trade, instead of USD. This will do it. Next, India and Russia will use Chinese currency. On Pakistan, lookup where port of Gwadar is, next to Iran in the oil gulf. China is building a naval and trade port in Gwadar.

They are also building their third carrier, their first super carrier with electric magnetic catapult system. Even though the Chinese are aiming to only build 6 carriers, it’s one of the few countries that can build carriers, and it already has more carrier than anyone else but the us.

But the Chinese will have no interest patrolling up and down the us coast, so you needn’t worry. China just wants to protect its energy sea lanes through the Indian Ocean. It has no interest trying to police the world like the us does.

Meh. Only time will tell if the China really believes in a peaceful rise. The Chinese are masters though at trying to project one image while doing something else, after all having face is very important, and constantly trying to portray themselves as the victim. Super powers, if history is our lesson, always project power abroad and try to exert control outside of their borders nearly 100% of the time. It could be that China was simply too weak after the century of humiliation, a Maoist revolution, and recovery. China, however, has tried to invade Vietnam, Korea, and Japan multiple times when it wasn't weak and you can claim there isn't a strong nationalistic fervor in China. It will be only a matter of time until China tries to project soft and direct power abroad.

And I'll believe hell will freeze over before I believe any claims that China won't try to patrol areas of the Atlantic or won't try to use the Nicaraguan Canal they're building under the guise of 'economics' for the PLAN in the long haul to access the Atlantic.

Even if what you say is true, can you blame them? They are only doing what the us have been doing to others for a century now. Guess we’ve been good teachers.

China has got this figured out along with Russia. They are taking Trump for a ride. Trump too busy talking to his "ally" Putin every week to figure it out.
