And Trump was not aware of this? Why would he invest in a losing proposition if he was such a financial genius?
No, I don't think Trump or anyone was psychic and predicted what laws other states bordering NJ would pass. Again, feel free to hate Trump, thats fine, but to argue that Atlantic City, NJ wasn't hit by surprise and hit hard by casinos opening in PA and CT is just illogical.
I'm sure every reader here knows of some Greenhouses, Corporate farms, and some places like you mentioned......that hire illegals. Why aren't the owners in jail?
Because the richer they are, the more likely the Republican HO'S on Capital Hill are OWNED by them!
I'm on board with you totally, however, there are more then some that hire them....and I'm not a republican, I'm an on the fence conservative.
and yes, they should be heavily fined and shut down.
When did the US Treasury become a bank making loans ? How about never during Trump's term. I remember Obama and/or Bush loaning Treasury money to auto companies. Maybe you are confused on that.
Apparently you know how much he makes when he visits his properties so clue us in with an amount.
Lets see what you have besides the all to common unsupported accusation.
For the first point- I think you missed sarcasm to point out the obscene.........

I don't care. The casino business, i.e. gambling, is a predatory business anyway. No better than loan sharking or drug pushing. No wonder Trump, who is nothing but a swindler and con man himself, was attracted to it.

Cool, now you "don't care" because you cant back up your initial retort to me with any logic. You hyper-partisan folks never cease to amaze me with your complete political transparency.

Even then, he failed. In a business where the house always has the advantage, and wins, he lost.

Again, see my original post. While Trump is arguably not a great businessman, using Atlantic City as an example is weak. The entire industry (not just Trump) and city was very hard hit there due to laws from other surrounding states changing, and there are still casinos failing in AC to this day. Just trying to point out here that casinos aren't some magic money making business with no risk.

I don't have to back up anything. Trump made some bad business decisions. It's on him. No one else.

Lol, right. So you still have nothing to refute the facts I pointed out, which were that PA and CT allowing casinos to open put a MAJOR hurting on all of AC and their Casinos, not just Trump, and its still being felt today. Let me repeat, casinos are not some anomaly business model with no risk, they fail sometimes just like other businesses. And my point was to claim he 100% had to make a profit from them is illogical.

If Trump had any business savvy, not to mention an ounce of decency, he wouldn't have gone into the gambling business to begin with.
