Trump wants an AG that will stop the Mueller investigation because Trump knows that Trump Sr and Kushner and Trump Jr are guilty. Trump needs to stop the investigation asap before his/their crimes are made public.

With Sessions at the helm, it makes stopping the investigation much more complicated. Trump already infiltrated the GOP House intelligence committe into covering his crimes and looking the other way. He wants to do the same to the Mueller investigation and switching AG is the 1st step. Trump's been wanting to switch AGs ever since Sessions recused himself, but was waiting for the right time politically.

He recused himself from the Russia investigation and won't fire Mueller.

That's the only reason they don't like him.

If he's fired, who will replace him?
