In all seriousness, I expect that tomes are already being written that attempt to explain the connection between the American people’s dedication to these sad, dysfunctional families and the election of Trump.
For whatever reason, this is who they identify with.

Obviously, tRump is butthurt by the early release of Wolff's book and it's now breaking sales records. Largely as a result of him trying to block publication.

Have you ever heard of the Peter Principle? That employees tend to rise within corporations until they "reach the level of their respective incompetence."
Trump IS a genius at marketing and very successful in selling first his name, then putting together a reality TV show, and finally smack-talking his way into the Presidency.
Note: Mr. Trump was incorrect on at least one point: he actually ran for the Presidency in year 2000, under the Reform Party, although he dropped out eventually.
