"Hispanic unemployment was at a near-record low of 4.9 percent in December – down from 5.7 percent the month before the election of President Trump. Additionally, there were four months in 2017 in which the Hispanic seasonal unemployment fell below 5 percent – the only time that has occurred in a single year over the past 44 years."

OP is using BLS, the same department which Candidate Trump claimed only puts out fake numbers. Not hating, just pointing out Trump's hypocrisy.

Thanks, Obama.

Bull market in stocks is 103 months old. Trump owns 11 of them - Oct. 11, 2017

That great market started years ago, under Obama. Trump just rode the wave and did nothing to either contribute to it or screw it up (yet.)

I'm still waiting on the OP to explain, exactly, what policies Trump has enacted to make jobs easier to find for African Americans and Hispanics. There has been no answer whatsoever to that question, which means giving Trump credit for this downturn is utter lunacy.

We all know the truthful answer - he hasn't done anything about jobs in general, and certainly nothing about jobs for minorities. But this forum isn't about truth. It's about partisan, right-wing propaganda. So, by all means - let us continue to give credit to Trump for Obama's actions. It's not like Trump has anything of his own to brag about.

Again, what SPECIFIC job creation policies has Trump enacted that created this downturn in unemployment numbers among blacks and Hispanics? If the answer is "nothing," than he deserves no credit.

You don't get to just spout off empty political catch phrases like "create jobs and everyone benefits" while at the same time trying to credit Trump for "creating jobs." He hasn't done anything - even by your own admission. So, he isn't worthy of any credit.

Right-wing lunacy on this forum is an at all time high. We've literally got people giving credit to Trump for job creation by saying he did "nothing to create jobs." And that's after dealing with the fruits who are crediting Trump for "allowing people to say Merry Christmas without fear," and thanking Trump for "preventing airplane crashes." It is amazing - Trump now deserves credit for anything good that happens on his watch, even if - by the admission of right-wingers - he "did nothing" to deserve it!

Get a grip.

When we'd have a month under 0bama, with only about 80,000 jobs created, and the BLS drops the U3 rate by three points, yeah, the BLS got beat up.

It's the greatest Nightmare for the Leftists - they count on the Minority Votes and keep the Minorities DOWN to guarantee those Votes. Leftists come around every 2-4. years, go to the churches, do their "get out the vote"

And nothing every changes. Donald Trump said - "what do you have to lose?"
Doing the same thing for generations has gotten Minorities what?

Minorities, and really, no one should be impressed with a plethora of low paying, no benefits, jobs.

I bet if the stock market was 5000 points down you wouldn't be saying this.

Trump doesn't create jobs. Companies do. Trump is getting out of their way. Economy often moves just on talk. The stock market has been going up just anticipating tax cuts. The kind of proof you want you will never find it in a president. He is not personally digging trenches and laying down pipelines.
