Money in hand first. That's the only way we'll know for certain that the U.S. taxpayers aren't going to get stuck with the bill.
I’ll pay federal taxes that will actually go towards one of the things the federal government is actually tasked to do.

I live in Central Mexico. If a wall is built, at least I'll be on the right side of it.

Why are so many people so dang literal? No, Mexico is not going to cut a check in the literal sense and pay for the wall. But with fewer illegals coming across the border, there will be less money being sent back to Mexico in remittances. That is one way Mexico will pay, by losing money! Get it.

How does lessening the amount of money some individual Mexicans will receive from their relatives in the States get back to the U.S. taxpayers who will be footing the bill for the wall?

Yeah, it doesn't.

They may not turn over pesos, but indeed, they will pay for the wall, as Trump says, one way or another.
Step 1: Build expensive wall.
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Mexico pays for expensive wall.

The underwear gnomes are officially in charge of US policy.

All you need to do now is outline a plan where Mexico receiving less money somehow finances a wall.

It's that pesky step 2 again, isn't it?

Since you are fine with that lie, YOU pay for it if you want it so badly.
The given price tag is 18 billion over 10 years. We give that much or more every single year in foreign aid to countries that don't respect or outright hate us. It's funny to me that while our government wastes colossal amounts of money on so many other frivolous and ridiculous projects, we only hear the left complaining when the money is actually going to be spent on something that might actually benefit our country. Sure, the wall will not completely solve the problem. But it will add another layer of security for our country.

Oh, and just so you know, there is more than one way to make Mexico pay for this wall. It does not have to be an outright and immediate exchange of money from their hands to ours. Mexico could easily be made to pay for the border wall with just a few tweaks to certain policies involving taxation and tariffs.

Mexico has repeatedly stated that it will not pay to build the wall.

“I believe Mexico will pay for the wall,” Trump said during a brief news conference at Camp David, where he was meeting congressional Republican leaders to plan for 2018 midterms.

Trump claims Mexico will pay for wall
libs/hijacked dems believe in instant grafication. They don't gewt their cookie immediately, they throw a tantrum. But you promised daddy!

give the guy time and space.

Imagine what Trump could have accomplished without the all out war declared on him by the dems and media. Any other human would have withered and died under that lopsided onslaught. Makes trump appear the superman the media claimed obama was with all the love and cuddingly that had even chris mathews declaring obama sent a tingle uphis leg.

No they won't. In no way shape or form will Mexico pay for a wall.

I'm thinking that your uncanny ability to "interpret" Trump's cryptic code talking could surely be utilized by the likes of Fox News, thanks for clearing up that little misunderstanding, we all though he meant just what he said---Who'd a thunk it?
