What we have now is republicans pretending that fusion is some sort of DNC cutout. But in fact it was the REPUBLICANS who started this work, paid for this work and when their campaign ended they abandoned it. The dems did not "plan " this they have no "special" relationship with Fusion and YOU MUTGR KNOW IT!
You know this. You know Fusion has clients both side all the time, they dig around find stuff that looks bad or is bad etc. The right is attacking Fusion GPS only because they don't like what was found. If Fusion found proof that Trump was a great guy we would not hear a word from you guys. If Fusion found dirt on Hillary you would love fusion. BUT (big but) they found real dirt on Trump and his team, thus you are outraged and attacking them.

Fusion is a Russian cutout. The collusion was between the DNC and Russia through Fusion. The house of cards is starting to fall.

What did Fusion find? The Trump dossier that Comey testified about a few months ago that he described as "salacious and unverified" that remains unverified according to McCabe's testimony except for Carter Page's trip to Russia WHICH WAS PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE.

The same "salacious and unverified" dossier that was used by the Obama FBI/DOJ to get a FISA Warrant to spy on the opposition party. (Hey, that's Watergate on steroids).

The team of investigators and lawyers who whitewashed the Clinton email investigation and then subsequently were on Mueller's team. Strzok, Paige, etc.

The biggest lie of all is that Putin wanted Trump to win. He didn't. He knew the US would be open for dirty business with Hillary as POTUS and Bill as her bagman collection checks all over the world. They knew she was open for business for the right price from Uranium One, who knows what else.

That's fine. As I said, investigate everyone who is suspected of being involved with any foreign government interference in the 2016 Presidential elections.

Get to the truth on both sides. And no more whining that "my side is the good side" or "my side is being targeted by a witch hunt" or "the investigation into my side is a hoax."

As someone said earlier, the corruption goes right to the core on both sides. So should the investigation, and punishment if the courts find wrong doing.

The only side that should matter to anyone on these forums (or in Washington) is NOT right vs. left or Republican vs. Democrat, but the side of truth.

Let the chips fall where they may.

Hillary Clinton unaware of dossier before it published - CNNPolitics

Do you have any evidence that Hillary Clinton and the DNC knowingly hired Steele?

And do you have any evidence that Hillary Clinton and the DNC should have known Steele was a criminal or unreliable source that should never have been hired?
Is this like all the times that Obama knew about knowing about all the corruption within his administration until he read about it in the NYT?

Some interesting tidbits from the Order, some reported, some not so much:

Mark Elias, of Perkins Coie, represented both the Clinton campaign and the DNC. Elias retained Fusion for research on Trump. This has been widely reported.

This, to my knowledge, has not. Fusion was accused of acting as an unregistered agent of the Russian government, in violation of the Foreign Agent Registration Act, based on work it performed for Prevezon Holdings, a Russian state-owned company. The order states that reports confirmed that various law firms and business had retained Fusion on behalf of their clients to perform Russia-related work.

Prevezon settled a money laundering case with the DOJ.

Russian firm that promised to pay US millions after money-laundering settlement misses deadline - CNN

Prevezon was represented by Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, who is now infamous for her meeting with Trump Jr and others at Trump tower.

It's really not hard to connect these dots. There was collusion with Russia to be sure. But follow the money: Hillary/DNC - Fusion - FBI/DOJ- Trump dossier - Prevezon (i.e. Putin a/k/a Russia) - Natalia Veselnitskaya - Trump tower meeting to set up Trump.
Follow up. Some additional details from the Order entered on 1/4/18:

Public reports show Perkins Coie and Baker Hostetler and other law firms engaged Fusion in connection with the Trump dossier.

The committee also seeks records related to certain businesses Fusion did business with. The order states the committee possesses intelligence that links these businesses to Russia and Russian operatives. Presumably Prevezon is one of those businesses. But there are apparently others.
