How many people know about this? Trump paid for Sen. Rand Paul and other eye docs to fly to Haiti and Central America to perform sight saving surgery on hundreds of people.

" 'I think it's unfair then to sort of all of a sudden paint him, 'Oh, well, he's a racist,' when I know, for a fact, that he cares very deeply about the people in Haiti because he helped finance a trip where we were able to get vision back for 200 people in Haiti,' Paul said."
Sorry that doesn't fit the false narrative of opposition media about Trump being a racist. So be sure to post this on anti-Trump articles so we can educate the Loonies.

Some Presidents have great smiles & sound good. But they spend a Trillion more than they take in each year and watch the Debt rise from 9 Trillion to 19 Trillion (in 8 years) & stick it to the middle class who saw their Health Insurance Premiums go up by $800 per month ($10,000 per year). They also divide the country & play the race card.
Other Presidents are a little ham handed, speak with a Queens cadence and impatience (& may drop the occasional F bomb or S bomb)....but put their money where their mouth is. A few million for people in Haiti (for people who he doesn't know), a million bucks (of his own money) for Harvey victims (who he didn't even know). & on the Economic front an Average Person (like me) opens his IRA (annual statement) & saw a nice 32% gain for 2017. Heck, I made more on my IRA gain than I did on my income.
So I'll take the gruff, sometimes crude, awkward, guy (with a Big Heart) who Actually Gets Stuff Done.... over the smooth talking socialist who got his marching orders from Jeremiah Wright and Saul Alinsky.

Please name a similar gesture Obama ever did , to pay out of his own pocket to help the poor and needy. If anything Obama would possibly laugh at the suggestion & think it is beneath his lofty station in life to do so.
Durbin is the real villain in all this.
Trump never said anything rude about Haiti publicly.
Durbin has no respect for Haiti and was therefore keen to say it to the media.
Durbin owes Haiti an apology for publicly humiliating them.
