Why do you care if it has zero impact on you or others? Why be so interested in other people's business?
Because it *does* impact people. It impacts everyone... taxpayers paying for gender surgeries for those in the military, gender neutral bathrooms, not to mention the endless lecturing by the left that everyone needs to "accept" it.
You are obviously not gender fluid (nor am I). Why does it matter so much if you're not directly dealing with this, or is this an issue with family or close friends?

So you are OK with Education, Government, and Corporations making changes to accommodate this, and government passing laws like Canada did to not allow you to use certain pronouns. You can be prosecuted for that as hate speech, and that is what the Left wants here.
Do you want schools telling little Johnny that just because he has a penis doesn't mean he's a boy, and its great if he wears dresses, plays with dolls, and "likes" other boys, AND "identifies" as a girl? Do you want the psychological confusion that would come with that?

This is why I always bring up John Money, the sexologist who did exactly that.
And both children grew up with mental problems and both MEN (after the failed gender experiment pf trying to turn one into a girl) KILLED THEMSELVES. Both of them. Suicide.
But people absolutely refuse to investigate John Money, learn where the modern use of *gender* originated, or even consider the ramifications the indoctrination poses on a population of mentally healthy children.
Because well, diversity, and tolerance, and trendy ... and stuff.

That's the issue. No one cared until it was made an issue that affected EVERYBODY.
It is giving children wrong ideas. Kids want what they want at the time, like to eat candy all day. Now we are encouraging them to be what gender they feel like, which could change by the day or any time based on outside influences. A girl who feels like a boy might just be a tomboy. She will be encouraged by those with an agenda to actually be a boy, or to be a boy this week or to be part boy. It is confusing. Kids need stability not fluidity. So this trend of gender being a choice is dangerous to them.
These days we are supposed to play along with mental disorders. To enable the patient to pretend that they are real, that the genitals between their legs are something other than what they are. Little different than being expected to play along with someone with multiple personality disorder. Who are you today? Mary? Jane? Sybil? Lizzy? Hillary Clinton? Tell us who you are TODAY. Seems insane to enable the mentally ill and help them deny reality doesn't it?
