You know I can maybe give the benefit of doubt when it comes to global warming.........however this seems even more far fetched to me ............

CO2 is heavier than oxygen, I am surprised that we aren’t all crushed by the increased weight of air...

If true, who cares? Sea levels rise and fall. Have since time immemorial.

Some of the best Bizarro World explanations that global warming is causing something.
A year or two back the northeast had rare sightings of snowy owls in winter. They normally live in Canada and don't come this far south. The explanation for them moving south to hunt for food: Warm summers in Canada in the artic caused an overpopulation of rodents which then ate themselves to starvation causing a prey shortage for the owls. It couldn't have been the abnormally cold winter there that caused a food shortage.
Warming temps at the south pole was causing glaciers to melt which in turn was causing increased volcanic activity under them. The temps at the pole were colder than normal, however.
I thought science was supposed to make sense and be based on facts.

Great news. All it is doing is increasing our water holding capacity. In reality it's just free dredging.

When you think about it though, is it any less credible than the belief that strange weather patterns, commonly associated with climate change, are really the result of the approaching second coming of Christ?

If there’s one thing we’re learning about this global planetary experiment called climate change, it’s that there are unexpected consequences
No truer statement has been written debating climate change. The entire human race has become Guinea pigs in the largest experiment in human history. It will have consequences we will not know but our children and grandchildren will face.

What part of it seems farfetched to you, and why? I don't see anything hard to believe. The Earth's crust is elastic; the crust in Northern Wisconsin and Minnesota is still rising a measurable amount each year in reaction to the glaciers melting 10,000 years ago. I studied geology, and this makes perfect sense to me.
