'Cause if there's anything America needs, it's more public spaces named after MLK.

Are you kidding me. My guess is John Kelly told him to do this to redeem himself.

This will never get much media coverage and will soon be forgotten by his haters.

Lol there is truly no satisfying Trump Haters. Trump does an extremely non-racist thing here and still gets criticized. Unbelievable.

Extremely non-racist thing? Trump didn't initiate this bill. It was presented to him and he had two choices; Sign or not sign. He had to make that choice with a relative of Martin Luther King Jr. hovering over him. What possible reasoning would he have come up with for not signing it?

This proves he isn’t racist? Smh... how about looking at how a person greets those who are alive and not those who are dead and no longer consider “troublemakers”

And who does so because that's what's in his heart and what he truly believes, and not for political optics when he is in the middle of a ****storm of racism of his own making.

This was a political move in a vain attempt to redeem himself. Nothing more and nothing less.

Or is a PR move when a POTUS shows up at a MLK event which Trump did not do and got slammed for it?

I am not a trumpie but I really don't think he is racist. I just think he does not care about going through the motions of continually trying to prove he is not racist like most white politicians do. And for some that makes him a racist by default.

Wait one minute... Didn't the Left tell us that Trump is an enemy of the environment and that he was going to destroy the National parks yet here he is creating a open space to honor a great man??

Well maybe on one side of the park we will have a statue of MLK and on the other a oil well ?
