I don't think Oprah should run for president. She doesn't have the experience. What she does have is intelligence, heart, and the ability to give a really great speech. She had public support because of her humanitarian efforts as well as her celebrity. So any Democratic candidate would, I'm sure, welcome her support. But I think we have learned that just being a celebrity doesn't make you a good president. I think if she wants to earn the right to run for president, she should run for a lower office first.

I think we learned in Alabama that Black women could make a huge difference in an election. If Oprah can turn that demographic and/or women in general into active and involved voters, she would be making a great contribution to democracy.

I would agree if Trump had run for a lower office first. Why does the woman need to prove herself when she's already a self-made billionaire? Trump inherited his money and like everything else in his life, started at third base. Oprah has already more than proven herself.

She's black and female. 'nuff said. Meets the criteria of what they're looking for in '20.

It isn't that Trump is inexperienced in politics, it's that he's a liar, a cheat, and a fraud. Always has been. Still is.

He has surrounded himself with grifters and traitors who are looting the nation even as we chit chat away.

To say Oprah would be just like Trump because she hasn't served six years in the Senate is just silly.

I agree. She's also a global citizen who could repair our reputation in the world without doing anything but getting elected. Trump has all but flushed our status as the leader of the free world down the toilet. The fact that so many right-wingers are pushing snarly comments, untruths and put-downs against Oprah makes me think she'd be the perfect anti-Trump to run.

But with running for the Presidency, Oprah may not have to show her tax returns but for sure she has to show what she owns and I don't see her being willing to show that a black female is the victim of inequality!

AND JUST HOW THE HELL DO YOU KNOW,THAT IT'S ONLY LIBERALS rooting for OPRAH?

Sounds like Russian "MISINFORMATION"....BS, TO ME!

Liberals believe it is stupid to have a TV host running for President and winning. But Oprah is the new messiah!
Highly doubtful they will run Oprah, but its telling that she has Trump loyalists heads exploding.

It is interesting that Trump has said she would be a good VP for him if he ever ran for office, so I suppose their political views are very close.

I guess that photo showing Oprah kissing Harvey Weinstein might be the reason why they'll not run Oprah? Brutal meme sums up what’s so terribly wrong with Oprah’s Globes speech
