Every time there's a mass shooting, the GOP and the NRA blame mental health. Appalachia and the Rust Belt are overwhelmed by the opioid crisis. So what does the Republican president do? End the registry for both programs. The next time there's a mass shooting, we should not bother wringing our hands over the lack of mental health services available in this country but point to Trump who doesn't even want to track it.

Looks like it was failing to provide results.

It sure didn't stop any mass shootings did it ? Well, no it didn't.

(NREPP), which is funded and administered by the Department of Health and Human Services, has existed since 1997 to help people, agencies and organizations identify and implement evidence-based behavioral health programs and practices in their communities.

Stop mass shootings..are you serious? How would you know about any shooting that didn't occur, are you telepathic or something?

The government, filled with megalomaniacs & sociopaths, is the last place you'll find models of good mental health.

Your thread title is fake news. Nowhere in the article does it say that Trump ended the program. The headline refers to the Trump administration, and the article refers to the federal government. Is there any evidence that Trump had ANYTHING to do with this descision?

This headline is long on hysteria and short on information.

Give me a break, what happens in the Trump administration lies squarely on Trump's shoulders, that's the same thing that happens with every administration like it or not. Trump appointed people to cabinet positions apparently because they agreed with his policies, his fingerprints don't have to be on changes like this for him to be ultimately responsible.

What programs ????? All the health clinics for 100 miles have been shut down since 1998 at least.
