Y'know, I have been on Facebook for over 8 years, reading it daily, often two or three times a day.
NOTHING I ever read on there changed my mind in the least about voting. I have never talked to anybody who based their vote on Facebook.
As for Twitter, IMO it matches the old definition of pornography: "Has no redeeming social value!" I have never looked at it, and don't intend to.
My voting was based on the candidates: Who they were, what they actually said, what they actually did in the past, etc.
"Interference" in the electoral process by the Russians or any other country? Perhaps it happened, but it didn't affect the votes of anybody I know.
Remember the paid trolls from Correct The Record the super PAC for Hillary Clinton? How many of those trolls were non U.S. citizens, I would imagine quite a few. Trolls are everywhere, however if people verify what they are reading, most of the problem is solved. If something interests you, look for a second source.
Maybe the Russians got the idea by watching Glenn Beck on FOX, where he stood every day with his chalk board spewing all kinds of fairy tales and conspiracy theories and as soon as his show finished, people rushed to the discussion forums to repeat what Beck had just said. People will believe almost anything.

Not only believe it, but repeat it.
The folks who argue that they are not influenced by any of this nonsense are, as luck would have it, the same folks who repeat this nonsense endlessly.
Exhibit A of a poster who gets his information and talking points from Russian trolls.
There are several around here who are so freakin obvious!
