I have to congratulate Trump on how quickly he is messing up the world and the status of the USA and the Dollar:
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...ess-attractive

Whoever thought that a guy could be that bad to make such things happen in only one year!

Well, Trump better get on the phone to Putin about buying our (increasing) debt load, because no one else is gonna stand in line to prop up the dollar. The Saudis are reportedly not liking it too much and may end up going with China.

Sure, life will go on - but I really doubt that ANY of this is according to plan......unless the Great Negotiator works like this:

China: Hey, Don, keep it cool and we'll both work together.
Don the Con: I am going to slap penalties on your steel and also call you a currency manipulator with the world financial institutions.
China: We could care less. Do what you like.
Don the Con: Well, I sorta like you and I sorta don't.
China: Folk Yu - we are getting a bit tired of hearing how great you are. We are gonna get rid of anything that YOU are perceived to "stand behind", because - frankly - you are a crazy man.
Don the Con: Well. I always win. I just won. Aren't I great?

China is also 175.6% dependent on the US economy, so what's your point?

Chinese sale of US Treasuries is nothing new:

From 2010: China sells $34.2bn of US treasury bonds

https://www.theguardian.com/business...treasury-bonds

From 2015: China Sells U.S. Treasuries to Support Yuan

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...r-yuan-support

It has nothing to do with Trump and everything to do with US national debt and propping us Chinese currency.

Thread Fail.

China has been threatening to dump their U.S. treasuries for years now. Hasn't happened yet.
We shall see.

That's what we get for selling our debt to them. It's a disaster waiting to happen.

yep, just checked the Dow. It's down 0.08%. Quit rooting against America liberals, you'll never win an election that way.

The story been most prominently featured on msn.com .... a "source" usually aimed at the "thought" processes of fourteen-year-olds. Need anyone say more?
