lol, another child with untreated mental illness who just couldn't shut off social media. This will only continue and get worse as children are raised as they are with bad parenting. Meaning, parents not teaching them that they can shut the damn thing off and maybe also teach them not to spend so much time on it. Social media is a scourge on society.

I wonder - where does a lack of empathy and the ability to laugh at people killing themselves fall in the spectrum of mental illness?

I just don't care anymore. People killing themselves over something on the internet is the absolute height of insanity when you have ALL the control to make it stop simply by shutting it off.

The girls who do this are always attractive. The bullying is probably jealousy motivated. If I recall my school days attractive kids were pretty safe, and it was the homely nerdy kids that got bullied.
