We have Amazon Prime come August we are getting rid of cable unless they drastically reduce our bill.
Yeah, we are working on using those three and going to PS Vue. The cost of all 4 things will still be less than Comcast and we won’t be stuck in a contract.
What's weird is Roseanne (the show itself) was pretty liberal in many ways in the first run. They had openly gay characters and one of the first lesbian tv kisses.
That's what I don't understand. This won't fall in line with her character or others on the show. It doesn't make sense, as if in her later years she backtracked all of sudden, becoming conservative.
I love Roseanne (the show) and admire Barr for Metcalfe it. However, she's always been very mentally ill. She lied about being sexually abused by her parents. Her husband at the time, Tom Arnold, was a real victim as a kid. He went public with it and then all of a sudden, she was a victim. She later said it was untrue. She's also lied about having multiple personalities.
She's an unreliable narrator.
But I'll be watching Roseanne!
I have questioned aspects of her personality, but had seen the show originally, watched reruns over the years and have looked forward to seeing this. I preferred the later shows when experienced, they had a good cast and especially like Laurie Metcalf. I hope the new show won't be screwed up.
I love Roseanne! (The last few seasons notwithstanding.)
It makes perfect sense that she’d be a Trump fan, in the same way Archie Bunker would be. Maybe a more accurate comparison would be to those who live in trailer parks—the PWT kind of folk. (Regardless, it’s certainly not a complementary comparison.)
Is this just publicity? Will her character be suddenly shamed into opposing Trump as a lesson for viewers?
>>>> I voted for Ralph Nader AND I voted for Trump. I gave Nader a vote because I didn't like Bush and thought it would be a good slap in the face to Al Gore who I saw right through and couldn't stand. I voted for Trump even though I didn't like him and doubted he'd be a good POTUS. But he couldn't be any worse than his last three predecessors and the alternative to Trump was unthinkable.
Like I said, Roseanne has been red pilled and that's why she's turned on the left. I don't think she'll have any great love for conservatives but she has contempt for progressives. Or at least she views them as fools being duped.
