There you go, red states. How do you like your president now?
Even better!
Why shouldn't someone who is able bodied have to work to pay for part of what they get?

6 in 10 Nursing Home Residents are on Medicaid in the USA. They're also on Medicare but Medicaid pays for the hefty nursing home bills - often $70,000/year.

Here's a breakdown by state

have you lost control of your faculties?
Seeing that the justifications I've seen for this are at best dishonest and the fact that specifics are lacking, how can you call people out for asking what it is exactly we are talking about here?

The link was behind a paywall, but google directed me to many other articles. They indicated able bodied with no dependents.

I have no problem with people working n exchange for healthcare. DH did it for 25 years. ;-]

What were those programs in the depression that created so many parks and city halls. The WPA?

My niece is an OT at a facility that is part of a nation-wide chain. She does work-ups to check for physical problems. Sometimes she gets people from other nearby facilities from other chains. While most are elderly, not all are. While most have physical problems, not all do. Some have been placed in a facility. Some have gone of their own accord. They are almost all on Medicaid. I've seen this myself over the years, where someone who seems to be able-bodied will check themselves into a facility.

If the government goes after those able-bodied people, what's to stop them from going after the others? Nothing.

What specifics are lacking?
What is dishonest about quoting what is in the actual letter. Like me stating the fact and providing a link showing that one is not required to have a drivers license in order to vote?
