Someone else in the room responded: “Because if you do, it will be obvious why.” When the group came to discussing immigration from Africa, Trump asked why America would want immigrants from "all these ****hole countries" and that the U.S. should have more people coming in from places like Norway."

In other words Trump feels that anyone born in a “****hole” country has no value to the U.S. no matter what the individual’s accomplishments and job skills.

I am really surprised so many Americans feel place of birth is more important than character, life accomplishments and skills in evaluating an individual’s potential worth to the country.

it wasnt the fact that he used norway as an example, he could of use any country or just made up a name, and people would still complain about it. It has nothing to do wait a country or the term ****hole, its all about pinning something on trump to impeach him.

Do you really think that poor countries are loaded with skilled people. If they were, and were successful in there lives, do you think they would stay in their home country. Odds are they would stay in their home country. . If they left ,the country would be worse off without their skill.

We also have immigrants, even from those so called ****holes. Our capital actually has people with background from every corner of the world.

-Thank you
Liberals here hate people from Norway. It's most likely because you are Putin's neighbor. They would treat you like a racist subhuman if you disagreed with them on anything.
They wouldn't listen to anything you had to say and would try to silence you any way the could.
They are known to advocate for and use violence if you don't shut up when told.

WRONG. Read the quote again. This is not a third-party account.

Graham WAS in the room because Graham/Durbin were presenting their proposal - i.e., cutting the diversity lottery but keeping in Africans/Haitians under protected status was what prompted Trump's remarks.

Graham subsequently relayed the events to Tim Scott.

If it was racist then Asia would have been left out.

Leftists hate white people. The idea of inviting white people here is upsetting them. To have white people come as immigrants, they are not welcomed at all by the left because they are white.

Yep. There have now been both a Republican and a Democrat who were in the room who have confirmed that Trump said it. But when he claimed he didn't, that was the giveaway since Trump lies more than he breathes so once he claimed he hadn't said it, that was good confirmation that he had.

So they aren't ****hole countries?

Sure seem to be.

The adjective fits.
