Norwegians should not want to come here. They have it better off where they are. I doubt that there is any kind of long wait, unless the State Department totally breaks down from neglect.

You know, there are plenty of people in America, who actually could move to Norway right now, or at least to one of those other socialist utopias elsewhere in Europe, and they don't go. Why not?
Far more people move from Europe to the United States than from the United States to Europe.
I don't think looking at national statistics does much good, because it doesn't give you a clear picture of what life is actually like.
If you're rich, life is pretty great in America. Rich people aren't leaving this country, they are flocking here.

Being a liberal, I don't think any of this is racist. While I despise Trump, he said, "Norway" because he had just met with the prime minister of Norway. That's all. If he had just met with the prime minister of Nigeria, he might have said Nigeria.
What bothers me is the term he used to describe some third world countries. Now that obscene word is being blasted all over the tv. Kids watch tv and have to hear that. No use wishing Trump would learn to control his dirty mouth and no use wishing tv would stop spreading dirty language though.
We know he doesn't express himself very well but what he probably meant was that he wants educated people like you would be more likely to get in a European country rather than uneducated people like you would get from a third world country. I HATE TRUMP but some people are making a mountain out of a molehill.
The real facts are it was not a public meeting. It was private. Dick Durbin made it public. Many presidents have used colorful words but they were kept out of the news. Do you know why America is a superpower? Do you know how the world works? Do you know why capitalism even exists? Do you know why the Soviet Union turned into such a brutal, totalitarian state, even though it began with high-minded ideals?
Hillary Clinton got far more in donations from big-business than Trump. Were her corporate donors a bunch of altruistic, unselfish angels?
