Well, he's not lying. Sometimes the truth hurts. Liberals just don't like to hear it. If these countries were so great, their citizens wouldn't be risking life and limb to come here.

Unless you are a native American then your ancestors also came from someplace else. By the way, have you been to any of those places he talks about? Ever been to Africa? Some of the kindest people you'll ever meet in your life.

He must not realize that other nations may judge our country by his behavior. They likely consider the US to be a $hit&hole country as well, thanks to his behavior. This is unfortunate. We will be digging out of this hole for years to come.

If it wasn't for immigrants, Trump wouldn't have had two of his wives and he would have been born in another country.

They're just mad our President is insulting other countries instead of our own.

Native Americans came from someplace else, too.

Of course thats how they want to be seen, this kind of talk only makes his approval ratings go up with his followers, Evangelicals as well. Evangelicals are some of the most racist, hateful and xenophobic members of his base, don't let that "Christian" moniker fool you, these folks are not Christians, not by a long shot. They are as phony as the man they voted for.

I know things have changed, but surely some trump supporters, some GOP members of Congress have to deal with their kids and grandkids about trump's words. What do they say to the younger generations???
did this allegedly happen in public? were cameras or mics shoved in their faces?
Or, did this allegedly happen in a closed door meeting, where the two people making that claim were not even attending?

While I agree that Haiti and El Salvador would be 2 of the most awful countries to live in, it is still inappropriate for the U.S. President to characterize these countries by that word.

If in fact he said it. I don't trust Wapo.

I think it would be great if Lester Holt came on the news tonight and quoted him verbatim. If the FCC doesn't like it, tell 'em to talk to their boss about it...
