The American president claimed on Twitter that his reason for calling off the trip was his displeasure at Barack Obama having sold the current embassy for “peanuts” and built a replacement for $1.2bn. “Bad deal,” he wrote.

But the embassy’s plan to move from Mayfair to Nine Elms in London was first reported in October 2008 - when George W Bush was still president and Obama had not yet been elected.

Britain is THEIR country, their house. If they don’t want Trump in their house, they have a right to protest.

Trump is racist, dumb, obnoxious, thin skinned and boring. All he does is blow his own horn. They don’t want such a person in their house. He’s not going to do anything for them anyway so why endure his presence?

Man you are holding up as some paragon of virtue just referred to the country of Haiti as a "sh**hole* and by extension the persons who live there "sh**ty blacks".

Talk about making things up or not knowing how to read. I even said that they have a right to protest. I even said it in my first sentence.

How about you guys answer my question. What exactly are they protesting?

Also, I never claimed that Trump is a paragon of virtue. He is willing to do great things for this country. I don’t care if he hurts the feelings of certain Leftists because he is not politically correct and doesn’t say all the proper things. Taking care of this country is more important.

I am neither American or from Haiti.

What does Haiti have to do with America being wealthier, safer etc etc? Why do some Americans put foreigners and foreign lands above their own well being, is it bias towards their former land or ancestry?

Especially odd since the previous President bombed women and children in foreign lands.

”Almost half” means that more than half aren’t against his visit. So in other words, I was right. Just like this country, the conservative half of the country would welcome Trump.

And you people wonder why we're losing to China.

If he's scared of the Brits, he is not going to fare well against the Chinese.

We are losing to China because of the Left’s desire to move our country to a global economy, started by Clinton and expanded by Obama. China didn’t suddenly get rich on November 9th 2016 (day after Trump got elected).

And no, he is not scared of the Brits or protests despite what that obviously biased media outlet wrote (what the hell is The Independent?).

Don't even bring up anything about their Savior Obama - as they won't answer your question.
