Yeah--pretty accurate. if anyone looks at the slums of LA, Detoilet, Chi-town and Baltimore..it looks like El Salvadore

Are you aware, OP, that Norway is FAR more liberal than is the American Democratic party? Are you aware that pretty much every other advanced country is? Are you aware that there is already more poverty in the US than there is in most other advanced country?
It is easy to look at some of our inner cities and see problems like crime, piles of trash, gangs and people that don't seem to care that mirror images that we see in third world countries.
The thing that links the 2 is poverty.
It is rare to go to a nice place and see trash thrown around and graffiti on the walls and the reason is that people in the nice communities care about their surroundings. I'm not say that people that live in poor areas wouldn't want to walk down their streets without having to step over hobos or over broken glass while keeping an eye on the thugs on the corner that are staring back menacingly....
Why is there such a difference?
Is it poverty? Lack of opportunity? Lack of caring? Too many people living too tightly together?
I don't think the Democrats want to make America into a third world country despite Obama trying to knock America off its pedestal of exceptionalism... but the people that the Dems want to import into America will no doubt bring their perpetual problems of poverty and otherwise poor attitude with them and the sad thing is they can't help it.
Is this thread a joke? I see constant attacks about Democrats wanting to turn the US into the next "Norway, Sweden, Denmark", some awful socialist nation.
