Sorry, but Trump deserves all the criticism he receives, he has only himself to blame. It's not your fault, my fault or Jeff Flakes fault, it's on Trump entirely.
Every prez deserves criticism. All this Hitler, Nazi, Fascist, and now Stalin stuff is hyperbolic, extremist garbage.

When anti-Trump reporters start to mysteriously disappear, get back to us.

Trump isn't a Dictator, he just plays one on TV. He is a wannabe Dictator, thinks this Presidency gig is like being on his reality show................where he gets to call all the shots. Luckily, for us, there are still some people in this country who will never let a person with Stalin-like aspirations reach those goals.

Trump was so accustomed to running a one man show in his real estate business that he actually thought he could run the country the same way. Not on our watch, not now, not ever.

He has a pen and a phone.

So then OP, what is the appropriate way of calling out the press when they lie?

Funny, on the recent mini series about Vietnam by Ken Burns, a later episode has a recorded conversation where LBJ calls up the Washington Post and called the liars and UN American, was he Stalin as well?

According to Flake, Trump uses language very similar to Stalin, especially when it comes to his "enemies". Nothing bespeaks Stalinism more than saying the press is the "enemy of the people", and discrediting the truth. It is the language that Trump uses that resounds of dictators. Perhaps more Peronism than Stalinism.

Trumpism is anti-Americanism. It is like a foreign ideology that besmirches the Constitution and the great institutions of this Country.

Too bad so many people are too blind or ignorant to see the truth of Trump and Trumpism.
Funny post! I especially like your use of "bespeaks" and "besmirches".

The democrat hate and fear mongering continues uninterrupted from the hysteria that enabled the witch trials during the dark ages.

For those of you who may have forgotten this quote..... It looks to me like it was our last president, rather than the current one, who was more likely to run things like Stalin:
