Have said this before; gays, lesbians and trannies were the main "minority" group that won big from Obama being POTUS. African-Americans who waited hundreds of years to get one of their own (even if only half) pretty much got diddled.
Sad thing is they voted for the guy *twice*, which proves the oft uttered statements about that demographic and voting habits.
Meanwhile gays and Latinos/Hispanics told Obama and DNC in no uncertain terms before the 2012 campaign even began in earnest he better get with the program or else. In short order Obama "evolved" on same sex marriage and LGBT "equality", and hasn't shut up about it since. Latinos/Hispanics got the hot mess we are still dealing with; changes in immigration policy via EO.
You mean like DR. Ben Carson and any other successful Black Republican? Yeah, they get mocked by the people they are trying to set an example for...
If a successful Black person doesn't tow the party line, lock step, they are vilified by other Blacks, and the Left. Look at how Herman Cain was treated, and Carson.
Conservatives are good at putting blame on the individual, it's a lazy excuse so they can avoid societal problems out there. "Oh, your poor, well that's your own fault", "Oh your sick and can't afford health care, that's your own fault", "Your kids go to a bad school, move then!. Etc, etc, etc. Nothing gets better, because they don't want to tackle these problems they just want to spread blame.
Meanwhile other developed countries are are leaving us in the dust when it comes to all quality of life indicators.

Black people are not oppressed. Democrats just want them to believe they are oppressed. If you have a drop of black in you, then you are conditioned to believe that you are the downtrodden. We''ve all heard about "The Talk." Little black kids being told they are to watch their back from the white boogieman. That's the perceived reality in black America. And Democrats absolutely LOVE that s**t. Plantation politics is alive and well.
But let's talk about Barack Obama for a second. Barack Obama was the perfect example of how the "one drop rule" should be eradicated. The guy was born to a white mother, had an absent black father (surprise!), and spent the totality of his formative years under the stead of white grandparents and a elite private school in Hawaii. Then he spends his young adult years in elite private universities under the tutelage of a black power pastor trying to find his identity as a "black" man, and then brags about how he understands black plight because white people locked their car doors when he walked by. Talk about black American's being snookered by a guy who knows NOTHING about black identity. And to make matters worse, black people have been so indoctrinated to believe in the "one drop rule" that they don't even cry foul when a half-white guy from an elite background is termed the "first black president!" Which, of course, he is NOT. He is the first **biracial president.**
But whatever. Black people have fallen out of favor with Democrats. The new minority political power in this country is Hispanics. All a Democrat has to do these days to capture the black imagination is to carry a bottle of hot sauce in his/her pocket and denounce Republicans for wanting to cut back food stamps.
I long ago gave up on caring about the future of black America. Up to them to get where they want to go. Not my problem.
you can't have an honest open debate with some black people. They love to crucify whitey and the system but the moment you mention something that they are doing that is hurting their communities and to look in the mirror for most of their problems they get defensive and keep blaming whitey.
