He cheated workmen out of money he owed them, he's cheated on his taxes, he cheated people with Trump U., but he "financed" Haitian eye operations? He may not have even know what his accountants were doing for tax deductions for Trump.

I read some articles that were written contemporaneously and don't see any mention of trump's contributing to a trip.
Why would he have to pay for Rand Paul to go? Wouldn't Paul just be volunteering his time?
Please name a similar gesture Obama ever did , to pay out of his own pocket to help the poor and needy. If anything Obama would possibly laugh at the suggestion & think it is beneath his lofty station in life to do so.

I'd sooner believe that, if true, it was a bribe to someone i.e Trump got something back for funding the trip. I wonder what Senator Rand Paul had of value he could have traded for it.....

They donate their time, trip was probably paying for the transportation.

Trump is not a racist, but many that are accusing him of being racist actually are. I am very familiar with the actions of racists and how they play the game.
