There will be politics involved in this, like everything now. They were "religious", from the south, and home schooled. Conservative? Maybe they voted for Trump. There is a lot of meat there for the lions to chew on.

This puts a black eye on the progressive state of California, having this go on right under their nose. Maybe they will clamp down on home schooling, which many liberals would love to do.

You mean like post such as those "putting down" CA? This could've happened in ANY state & in fact it does happen in any state. Anyone blaming a state for something like this is just intellectually inferior.

So the kid’s great grandfather was a reverend. Who cares?

They have been in California since 2009. Did you track every state they have lived in since they were born? Odd that someone would be that obsessed.

Liberal or Conservative... Christian, Atheist, Muslim, Buddhist, Jedi or anything else... I think we can all agree that it is an atrocity.

They let people homeschool their kids with no oversight. That seems so not California.

Given OP's history if this happened say in Texas would OP post this in politics and other controversies section? I mean how is it related to either politics or what is the controversy there? It's politics right? If something bad happened in California it is either due to their liberal policies or these parents must be communist, right?
If you really wanted an answer to your question you wouldn't be asking someone who couldn't possible answer the question. The OP knows the answer and that is the only person who does.

Clearly you want it to be political. You recognize it in a political way with a political question. You inject politics into the question referring to the history of the OP.

Your opinion suggest that the OP wants to connect Ca with liberal policy or communist. That connection is already accepted and well known. They elected a governor know as "Governor Moon Bat", a name given to him by the good people in his state. ( AKA loony liberal )

The crime has a lot of people wondering how something like this could happen. It would be more likely a mental health issue. If the OP was going to make a connection to liberals or communist he would have a better argument connecting it to a liberal mental condition. That is a political issue but even then it wasn't the motivation for posting it here. Speaking for the OP, he doesn't have a problem if anyone wants to make that assumption or that connection.

The actual motivation to post it here is simple and not the least bit sinister. People often post crime threads here. The OP only did what he has seen done repeatedly. The last think he would expect is any kind of leniency if it remained here or was move.

Here is several examples of recent crime threads by someone on the left side of the divide. IMO.

The news drone flew over the house and it was pretty decent looking. It looks like they had time to manicure the yard and mow the lawn but forgot to feed the kids for 13 years ....I wanted to think the parents were mentally deranged to do this to the kids.... Let's see what they found out...
